Our Story

Fence Tech was founded by John Mitchell, a Southern Colorado native with a background rooted in both hard work and technical expertise.

Growing up in La Junta, John learned early the value of durability and doing things right the first time. He later earned a degree in Civil Engineering from CSU Pueblo and spent 15 years serving as a firefighter, two paths that demanded precision, discipline, and accountability.

Fencing has been a part of his life for over 20 years, starting as a side trade and growing into a full-time business. In 2017, he launched Fence Tech with a clear goal:
to provide dependable, well-built fencing solutions for the communities he knows and serves.
